Friday the 27th of April.

Went swimming and lay in the sun a little this morning. Answered e-mail and then went with Kerry to a mall near by to buy some swim goggles as I had left mine at the Marriott and we ate a very nice and not too expensive lunch in this mall. Picked up water and snacks at a mini market and back to the hotel right at 2pm. The van was waiting today and we told him we needed 15 minutes. He didn't seem to mind and soon the four of us were off to the workshop where we arrived 25 minutes early. One of the boys is in a play and we all gave him money to buy us tickets to see him tomorrow. Rebecca is getting some beautiful sounds from this group. They brought in observed characters for me and Kerry continued to block his show. We came home I checked e-mail and...we got another note from Pilar, her plans to start a drama program have met some enthusiastic supporters. We are happy to hear that....and....Steve wrote that phase II of the grant has been funded. EARS, Inc. will bring two actors from each country back to the US for 2-3 weeks.
Need international theater workshops? Know who to call :) We had a great dinner at the Cabana restaurant by the pool. More fireworks tonight. Kerry came back to my room to check e-mail. Talked to Dallon on Skype and am now doing laundry in the sink as there are no washers and dryers at this hotel as advertised on their website. It's $4.50 per pair of underwear if I use the valet service.....hope everything drys.
