We were picked up at 9:30 and taken to the location of our workshop. It is by the old house of representatives that was destroyed in the big earthquake and near a very large church, still standing but too dangerous too enter. The Cultural center was an old hotel. Now an arts center that people can cheaply take classes at. We meet with the head of the theater department and the head of the center in an air conditioned office. Did I say it was hot and very humid? Whew... We then got a little tour. Saw our classrooms all not air conditioned. Then met with the students. Many older students, and teachers. Kerry did 30 mintues of T'ai Chi, Rebecca did 30 minutes of Singing and I did 30 minutes of theater games. A short session. Back to the hotel where Kerry and I had lunch in his room and then each collapsed. Took it easy the rest of the day. Went to bed early as we are being picked up at 7:30 tomorrow.
