Wednesday Evening.
Wednesday evening, Kerry and Rebecca went Los Altos to work at Teatro Trono. I wrote a speech and waited from 6:50 to 7:20 for my ride to the place where the Embassy was giving it's presentation. I had understood that I would be picked up at ten minutes before 7, that the presentation was scheduled to begin at 7 but was on Bolivia time and would actually begin at 7:30. Well at 7:20 I told the front desk my dilemma and they said they hadn't heard anything about it. I went to my room tried to call the embassy, but there was only a message. Then I tried to look up on the internet where exactly the place was this event was being held. The phone rang and they called to ask where I was and the front desk told them I had been expecting them to pick me up. In the end I took a cab, which they told I was told the Embassy would pay for but I ended up paying. I arrived and they had a translator for me and I spoke about the state of the American Theater and about the project we were currently working on. Ivan Nogales spoke after me and the event went well. Two people came up and asked for more information and one if I would come Friday to do a workshop for their students and would like to talk with me about setting up a Drama School here. Ann and Chris were at the event filming it. We met up with Kerry and Rebecca and Dennis who had arrived that morning (he is our second camera person and here for the whole trip also Rebecca's husband)at the restaurant at the hotel.
